Cancellations and Non-Attendance
We offer psychological services both in person and via telehealth (video or phone call). Standard sessions are 50 minutes in duration. Appointments are available Monday - Friday during the day and after hours, in order to provide flexibility and accessibility.
Our fees are well below the Australian Psychological Society's National Schedule of Recommended Fees for private practice psychological services ($300):
Clinical Psychologists - $255
General Psychologists - $210

To avoid cancellation fees, we ask that if you need to change or cancel your appointment you advise the practice about this no later than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. This is in order to support the consistency and availability of therapy for you and other clients.
If you cancel or change your appointment within 48 hours, you will be charged the full fee for your session. Please note that Medicare and private health insurers do not provide rebates for cancelled or unattended appointments.
Rebates
If you are eligible, a Medicare rebate of $141.85 for Clinical Psychologists, or $96.65 for General Psychologists will apply for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. To be eligible for this rebate, you are required to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan (or equivalent) from a GP or psychiatrist.
Those without a MCHP or who are ineligible for Medicare rebates may be eligible to claim rebates through their private health fund, NDIS, TAC, or DVA.
