Claudia Guersenzvaig

I am a Psychologist with over 16 years experience in private practice. I am Spanish speaking and work with many clients from non English speaking backgrounds. I have training in couple and family therapy and use gestalt, CBT and mindfulness in my practice. In addition, I am highly qualified in the treatment of trauma, having undertaken training in EMDR.
I understand that taking the step to come to therapy can be difficult, so I am committed to making each person feel comfortable, heard and understood. I see therapy as a dialogue that helps promote awareness and understanding of oneself. My intention is to help you become clearer, less stressed and coping better with all areas of your life. Understanding your family background, will help uncover core themes and unconscious beliefs which have influenced your choices. Using a compassionate and supportive approach will help build a positive experience to reclaim a stronger connection with yourself and others.
